Siva: Artificial Life Based on Programmed Self-decomposition Model

چکیده

In 1987, Oohashi et al. proposed a biological hypothesis \programmed self-decomposition (PSD) model"[3], which assumes that a mechanism of decomposing itself and restoring substances and space to the environment is intrinsically programmed in every cell of terrestrial life. I have developed a simulator \SIVA-2 (Simulator for Individuals of Virtual Automata 2)" as an application for AP1000+ and examined the e ects of the self-decomposition mechanism through computer simulations of an ecosystem of arti cial life (ALife) based on the PSD model[5]. The method of implementation of parallel ALife and the newest results of experiments are reported in this article.
